CHILDCARE ARE NOW SEEKING FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC AND HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL
SCHOOL AGE PRACTITIONER TO JOIN OUR BUSY AFTERSCHOOL TEAM.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion in working with
children, have excellent communication skills and commitment to
high-quality early education.
A level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Education is desirable but
not necessary as full training can be arranged. Relevant work
experience is an advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure that Muckalee Community Childcare operating policies and
procedures are implemented at all times; this includes any new
policies and procedures that are introduced in the course of
employment (e.g. all new policies and amendments for Covid-**Apply on
the website**).
* Caring for the needs of the children who attend Muckalee Community
Childcare, including settling new children, comforting upset children,
meeting all their areas of development, including nappy changing and
assisting in toilet training.
* Preparation of snacks, lunches and other kitchen duties.
* Cleaning and sterilising/disinfecting duties as required.
* Planning and implementing the daily activities for the children,
including circle times, art and craft activities and participating in
structures play activities to develop all areas of a child’s
development.
* Supervising and arranging garden activities.
* Meeting and greeting parents and children in a professional
manner.
* Provide reports on each child’s progress for the manager and
parents when requested.
* Opening and closing of Muckalee Community Childcare.
* Any other duties that involve the operation of the Muckalee
Community Childcare.
Successful candidate will be subject to Garda Vetting.
